(WSIL) -- Southern Seven Health Department has confirmed two new cases of COVID-19 in its region, including the first case in Alexander County.
The health department says a woman in her 50s from Alexander County and a man in his 40s from Union County are being isolated after testing positive for the coronavirus.
To date, Southern Seven Health Department has reported a total of 15 cases of COVID-19: (note: Southern Seven revised its numbers as of 3 p.m. Thursday)
