(WSIL) -- Health departments across southern Illinois are reporting 138 new cases of the virus on Saturday, December 26. Officials also confirmed the deaths of four additional residents.
Franklin County:
- Females: two teenagers, two in their 20鈥檚, one in their 30鈥檚, two in their 40鈥檚, two in their 50鈥檚 and one in their 60鈥檚Males: one in their 20鈥檚, one in their 40鈥檚, one in their 50鈥檚, two in their 60鈥檚 and one in their 70鈥檚
- Males: one in their 20鈥檚, one in their 40鈥檚, one in their 50鈥檚, two in their 60鈥檚 and one in their 70鈥檚
To date, there have been 3,280 laboratory confirmed positives in Franklin county of COVID-19, including 39 deaths. Of these positive cases, 1,848 have recovered.
Gallatin County:
- Females: One in their teens, one in their 20鈥檚, one in their 30鈥檚, one in their 40鈥檚, one in their 70鈥檚
- Males: Two in their 30鈥檚, one in their 40鈥檚, one in their 50鈥檚, one in their 60鈥檚
Gallatin County has a total of 350 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including three deaths.
Jackson County:
- Females: One under ten, three in their 20's, four in their 30's, two in their 40's, one in her 50's, two in their 60's, and one in her 90's
- Males: Two under ten, four in their 20's, one in his 30's, three in their 40's, one in his 50's, and one in his 70's
Health official report the death of an additional resident marking the 55th resident to pass away in Jackson County. The person is a man in his 80's.
These cases are for December 25th and December 26th as health officials at the department did not report cases numbers on Christmas.
The department is currently monitoring 360 active cases. So far Jackson County has had 3,543 total cases. Of these positive cases, 3,086 individuals released from isolation, including 42 over Friday and Saturday.
Saline County:
- Females: Two under the age of 10, two in their teens, one in their 20鈥檚, four in their 30鈥檚, two in their 40鈥檚, one in their 50鈥檚, six in their 60鈥檚, two in their 70鈥檚, two in their 80鈥檚, two in their 90鈥檚.
- Males: Two under the age of 10, one in their teens, three in their 20鈥檚, one in their 30鈥檚, one in their 40鈥檚, one in their 50鈥檚, four in their 60鈥檚, two in their 70鈥檚
Health officials announced the death of an additional resident marking the 29th resident in Saline County to pass away. The person's gender and age were not given.
While the new cases being reported put the total to 1,808 lab confirmed positives.
White County:
- Females: One in their teens, three in their 30鈥檚, five in their 40鈥檚, one in their 50鈥檚, three in their 60鈥檚, one in their 70鈥檚, four in their 80鈥檚
- Males: One in their 30鈥檚, one in their 40鈥檚, four in their 50鈥檚, three in their 60鈥檚, two in their 70鈥檚
The Egyptian Health department reported the death of two additional residents. The passing of these individuals put White County death toll at 18 lives lost. Neither gender or ages were provided for either person.
The new cases of the virus put White County at 1,162 lab-confirmed positives.
Williamson County:
- Females: one teenager, one in their 20鈥檚, two in their 30鈥檚, two in their 40鈥檚, three in their 50鈥檚, one in their 60鈥檚 and one in their 80鈥檚
- Males: two teenagers, one in their 20鈥檚, two in their 30鈥檚 and two in their 50鈥檚
To date, there have been a total of 5,125 laboratory confirmed positives in Williamson county, including 99 deaths. Of these positive cases, 2,952 have recovered.
Illinois Department of Public Health:
The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 3,293 new confirmed and probable cases of coronavirus disease Saturday, including 66 additional deaths.
Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 934,142 cases, including 15,865 deaths across the state.
