MURPHYSBORO (WSIL) -- The Jackson County Health Department has announced a fourth death related to COVID-19 in the county.
The health department says a man is 80s who was a previously identified case of COVID-19 has died.
Two other individuals have tested positive in the past 24 hours.
Health officials say a woman in her 20s and a man in his 50s are each isolated and doing well. Both are said to have acquired the disease through local contact with a known or suspected case.
To date, there have been 36 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Jackson County.
Ten of the positive individuals have been released from isolation.
