(WSIL) -- What do you do if you lose your vaccination card?
九游体育 Seven Health Department says first, call your local health department. They say you'll have to answer some verification questions, like your date of birth.
They say they can find your immunization record through the IDPH system.
Your health department will be able to print a new card and send it out within a couple days. They say don't wait until the last minute if you need proof of vaccination for things like traveling because the time frame can vary on when you'll get your replacement card.
"Health departments in the state put all of their information that we report to IDPH. It all goes through the same channels and so we all have access to that information so if you maybe happen to get your first dose here at 九游体育 Seven, and you got your second at Bi-County, we can still see that in the immunization and shot record," said Community Outreach Coordinator, Nathan Ryder.
Ryder says it's a good idea to take a picture of your card for back up.
