FRANKLIN COUNTY, IL (WSIL) - The Franklin County Animal Control is partnering with several agencies to hold their Valentine's Open House event on Saturday, February 10, 2024. The event is sponsored by Homefinders Reality and gets major support from the volunteer group Friends of Franklin County Animal Control.

The event will be held at the animal control facility at 13163 Oddfellow Lane in Benton. As well as adoptions, there will be a variety of pet caretaking items available at discounted prices, like microchipping and spaying and neutering. The open house will also include food truck vendors. Donations for the animals like pet food, blankets and cat litter (scoopable) will also be accepted at the event.

The open house will run on Saturday from 10 a.m. through 2 p.m.
