CARBONDALE, ILL (WSIL) â€� Attention artists and cultural organizations: Over $30,000 in funding is now available through the 2025 ¾ÅÓÎÌåÓý Arts Fund (SAF) to support innovative arts programming and education in ¾ÅÓÎÌåÓý Illinois. Applications are open, and grants ranging from $2,000 to $3,500 will be distributed to individuals and organizations committed to community engagement and public service through the arts.
The SAF welcomes applications from:
Individual artists
Nonprofit organizations
Governmental entities
Educational institutions
Eligible projects should include a strong public service or community outreach component. Previous grant recipients are encouraged to apply again, but must meet more rigorous matching requirements.
This year’s grants are underwritten by the Illinois Arts Council, National Endowment for the Arts, Artspace 304, and a major private foundation.
The application deadline is Sunday, February 16, 2025.
