Big Muddy River near Plumfield and Murphysboro.

.Levels will continue to fall on the Big Muddy River, dropping
below flood stage near Plumfield Sunday, and near Murphysboro
Tuesday.

- At 9:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 22.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Sunday morning and continue falling to 14.0 feet Friday,
April 25.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

Ballard County fugitive arrested in unruly traffic stop

Caleb Hazelwood, 35

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (WSIL) � Wednesday afternoon, McCracken County detectives pulled over 35-year-old Caleb Hazelwood for breaking several traffic laws. 

MCSO says Hazelwood did not provide a driver's license and gave a false social security number. 

While trying to detain Hazelwood, authorities say he began resisting arrest, prompting a brief struggle and the use of a taser. 

After conducting a brief warrant check, it was revealed that Hazelwood had two outstanding warrants for burglary and criminal mischief in Ballard County. 

MCSO says Hazelwood was treated at the scene and is now in the McCracken County Jail. 

Hazelwood is facing several charges in McCracken County, including careless driving, operating on a suspended license, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.
