CARBONDALE, Ill. (WSIL) -- A Carbondale homeowner is searching for answers from the Carbondale Police Department.
Candace Wilson lives in the 1000 block of North Robert Stalls Avenue.
She said someone shot into her home three times. The first drive-by shooting happened in March and the second shooting occurred in July. Wilson said, the same alleged shooters drove-by her home on August 17 and gunned down her son, 43-year-old Jamonte Allison Sr.
"There's been a lot of shootings in this neighborhood. My house has been shot up over twenty times. The police put letters on my house, where my house had been shot up. I don't know what's going on. But these shootings need to stop and I'm very upset over this," said Candace Wilson, the mother of Jamonte Allison Sr.
We reached out to the Carbondale Police Department and they tell us, there is no new information to report.
