flood stage near Plumfield and Murphysboro late Sunday or Monday.

- At 8:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 24.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late Sunday evening and continue falling to 17.5 feet
Tuesday, April 22.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

Boil water order issued for Saline Valley Conservancy District customers

UPDATE: This boil water order has been lifted

ELDORADO, Ill. (WSIL) -- A boil water order has been issued for customers with the Saline Valley Conservancy District on Tuesday.

The Saline Valley Conservancy District stated the boil water order was issued for all customers north of Eldorado and west of Highway 142, along with all addresses in Broughon, Walpole, Thompsonville, Galatia and Raleigh.

The order is in effect until further notice.

For anyone with questions, an EPA Lead and Copper number is set up for assistance at 1-800-424-5323.
