CARBONDALE (WSIL) -- COVID-19 concerns have impacted many across the region. Now there is a new resource to help food pantries and those who use their services.
The city of teamed up with the for a virtual food drive.
The online food drive allows participants to shop for food pantries鈥� most needed items such as canned goods, beef stew, and macaroni and cheese. The virtual drive also allows for cash donations.
The St. Louis Area Food Bank provides food to two pantries in Carbondale; the Good Samaritan House and the Victory Dream Center.
