particularly dangerous situation with respect to the risk of flash
flooding and flooding Wednesday through Sunday.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
SUNDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...All of southeast Missouri, southern Illinois, southwest
Indiana, and western Kentucky.

* WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon through Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Extensive street
flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Multiple rounds of locally heavy rainfall over several days
will result in extreme forecast amounts of up to 1 foot of
rain that will cause the risk of flash flooding and flooding
to rise markedly and create a particularly dangerous flooding
situation.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor later forecasts and be alert for Flash Flood and Flood
Warnings. Be prepared to take action when flooding develops as this
will be a particularly dangerous situation.

* WHAT...South winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.

* WHERE...All of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western
Kentucky, and southeast Missouri.

* WHEN...From 7 AM CDT /8 AM EDT/ Wednesday to midnight CDT /1 AM
EDT/ Wednesday Night.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

McDonald’s launches new McNuggets, McFlurry flavors

McDonalds new McNuggets

(CNN) -- McDonald's is introducing two new menu items - Spicy Chicken McNuggets and the Chips Ahoy! McFlurry - as it tries to lure customers back during the pandemic.

It's the first new McNuggets flavor in the U.S. since they first hit the menu in 1983.

The spicy version has a breaded tempura coating of cayenne and chili peppers and comes with the company's first new dipping sauce in three years - Mighty Hot Sauce.

The sauce includes a blend of crushed red pepper, spicy chilies and garlic.

As for the Chips Ahoy! McFlurry, it has vanilla soft-serve ice cream, Chips Ahoy! cookie pieces and caramel topping.

Both new items hit U.S. restaurants September 16 and will be available for a limited time.
