CARTERVILLE, Ill. -- The winter storm on Friday has brought multiple inches of snow to the region. Along with the snow, more power outages took place as well. However, outages are almost restored.
On Sunday, January 5, the first winter storm brought lots of freezing rain, snow and sleet. It also left many in the dark.
Crews have since been working to restore power to many across the region after the lights went out. This storm left tens of thousands without power at the height of the storm.
