BUCKNER, Ill. (WSIL) -- Five people were arrested in connection to a burglary investigation in Buckner on Tuesday.
The Franklin County Sheriff's Office said their deputies responded to a burglary report in the early morning hours on January 28, at the Backroads Bar in Buckner.
The sheriff's office said there was forced entry into the building and an ATM was broken into with the cash box removed.
After looking over surveillance video, the investigation led deputies to a suspect.
The deputies then went to a home in Buckner and were able to get a search warrant. The sheriff's office said they found items related to the burglary, along with stolen property from other thefts in Franklin County.

Linda N. Fulford, 47 of Buckner
- Theft o/ $500.00 (Class 3 Felony)
Mason L. Parks, 21 of Buckner
- Theft o/ $500.00 (Class 3 Felony)
Cassandra E. Beatty, 25 of Valier
- Washington County FTA Warrant (Possession of Methamphetamine)
The Christopher Police Department and the Illinois State Police-CSI assisted the Franklin County Sheriff's Office in this investigation.
