...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...

Big Muddy River near Murphysboro affecting Jackson County.

Big Muddy River near Plumfield affecting Franklin and Williamson
Counties.

.The Big Muddy River continues to rise due to heavy rain last week
and over the weekend. The river will crest on Thursday before
starting a very slow fall.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

forecast.

- At 10:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 28.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 31.0
feet early Thursday morning.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
30.7 feet on 01/26/1949.

Franklin Co. man accused of making child porn

MULKEYTOWN (WSIL) -- A Franklin County man is in police custody in South Carolina on a felony child pornography charge.

Sheriff David Bartoni says Kip Raymond Martin-Roberts, 38, faces one count of child pornography production.

Bartoni says an ongoing investigation may lead to further arrests.

Horry County South Carolina deputies arrested Martin-Roberts. He's being held there until he can be brought back to Illinois to face the charge.
