...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...

Big Muddy River near Plumfield and Murphysboro.

.Levels will continue to fall on the Big Muddy River, dropping
below flood stage near Plumfield Sunday, and near Murphysboro
Tuesday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHERE...Big Muddy River near Plumfield.

* WHEN...Until early Sunday afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 23.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Sunday morning and continue falling to 15.1 feet Thursday,
April 24.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

Man wanted for child sex crimes in Union Co. now in custody

(WSIL) -- The FBI and local law enforcement agencies in Washington state arrested a man accused of grooming underage victims in southern Illinois.

In September against Dmitriy Seregeyevic Seleznev for child pornography, child pornography, indecent solicitation of a child, traveling to meet a minor, and grooming.

Officers took Seleznev into custody on Oct. 7 at a business in Vancouver, Washington. He's refused extradition to Union County to face the charges.

Local prosecutors are now working to obtain a "Governor's Warrant" to force that extradition.
