CARBONDALE (WSIL) -- A group of people is facing several charges, including armed robbery in Carbondale.
Police responded to an armed robbery at around 1:46 p.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of East Main Street. Police say the victim was battered with a firearm and robbed. The suspects left the scene in a blue sport utility vehicle.
Officers quickly located the suspected vehicle and arrested all five occupants in the 400 block of South Wall Street.
Dakota Miskelley, 29, of Marion, faces a Pope County warrant and armed robbery charges. Brent Odum, 27, of Marion, faces charges of unlawful use of a weapon and armed robbery.
Tommi Burnett-Miner, 25, of Carbondale, was charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery. Nichole Swann, 30, of Marion, was charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery and a Franklin County warrant.
Alexis Wagner, 24, of Herrin, was charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery and possession of methamphetamine.
Investigators found that the suspects and victim are all acquaintances. All five were taken to the Jackson County jail.
