Suspect arrested in connection to shooting death of two in Trigg County

TRIGG COUNTY (WSIL) -- A suspect in the investigation into the death of two people in Trigg County have been arrested.

Landon D. Stinson of Cadiz, Kentucky was located and arrested in Los Angeles, California Monday, July 5.

Detectives traveled to L.A. and interviewed Stinson in connection with the deaths of Mildred Faris and Matthew Blakeley on Saturday, July 3.

RELATED:

He is being held at the Los Angeles County Jail on California charges. Officials also served Stinson with a Trigg County arrest warrant on the charge of Possession of Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Drug Unspecified).

The investigation is still ongoing at this time.
