PADUCAH, Ky. -- A Paducah teen has been arrested in connection to a shooting investigation.Â
Officers were called Tuesday night to the intersection of Hampton and North 12th streets. Witnesses saw two young males, dressed in black, walking towards and then waiting on that corner. They stayed there until a dark-colored Dodge drove by, at which point both began shooting at the car, police said.
The two males then reportedly ran to a red car parked on Hampton Street and fled. One witness provided authorities a detailed description of the red vehicle, including the make and that it had a "fin" or spoiler on the back.Â
Police said officers found numerous 9mm bullet casings in the middle of Hampton Street. They were later contacted by the victims in the shooting, who were also teenagers. Their car was described to have had two ricochet marks on the roof, a shattered driver side window and a bullet hole in the roof on the driver's side.
One of the victims provided the name Jamarion Foster as a possible suspect. Foster is known to drive a car similar to the one witnesses described.
Detectives served a search warrant at Foster's home on Wednesday, May 15th. Officers reportedly found a 9mm Smith and Wesson handgun, along with a rifle, ammunition, and various firearm accessories.
Foster was arrested on charges of two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment and first-degree criminal mischief. He was booked into the McCracken County Jail. The investigation is ongoing.Â
