CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo (WSIL) -- The Cape Girardeau/Bollinger County Major Case Squad has released the name of the victim in Tuesday night's homicide.
Officers identified the man as Marc’Anthony V. Jones, 19, of Cape Girardeau.
On Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at approximately 10:04 p.m., officers responded to the 1100-block of South Sprigg Street in Cape Girardeau.
There officers discovered two victims with gunshot wounds.
Both were transported to a local hospital where Jones died as a result of his injuries. The second victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries and released from the hospital.
The Cape Girardeau/Bollinger County Major Case Squad continues to investigate.
