POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (WSIL) -- Students are scheduled to return back to class on Monday after Three Rivers College closed their doors for a week after sustaining damage from an EF-3 tornado.
Three Rivers College representatives tells News 3 multiple buildings on campus sustained damage from an EF-3 tornado on March 14. Since this time, both on-campus and online classes have been postponed.
College representatives said they have shifted some classrooms to be able to reopen in-person classes for students.
The EF-3 tornado caused damage to buildings and homes throughout Poplar Bluff and Butler County, resulting in multiple injuries and one death.
Both on-campus and online courses will resume on Monday, Three Rivers College representatives stated.
