WSIL -- Jackets needed this morning as temperatures overnight have dropped into the low to mid 40s.
Sunshine this morning will help bounce temperatures up into the upper 60s by lunchtime. Temperatures will peak in the upper 60s along the I-64 corridor and the low to mid 70s through the remainder of the region.

Monday will be the WARMEST day of the week.

An upper-level disturbance brings light showers into the forecast late tonight, mainly after midnight.

Showers will linger into Tuesday morning as much cooler air spills into the area the rest of the week.
By Thursday morning, a few areas may drop back into the upper 30s with some light patchy frost in outlying, rural areas.
