.Levels on the Big Muddy River will continue to drop, falling below
flood stage at Plumfield Sunday, and at Murphysboro Monday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

ILLINOIS (WSIL) -- New information reveals that former Illinois House Speaker Mike Madigan was tapping into his campaign funds to pay legal fees.

On Wednesday, March 9, Madigan plead not guilty to 22 counts of bribery, wire fraud, attempted extortion, and racketeering.

Madigan resigned his seat last year after failing to get enough votes to be reelected to the position in early 2021.
