...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
SUNDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...All of southeast Missouri, southern Illinois, southwest
Indiana, and western Kentucky.

* WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon through Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Extensive street
flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Multiple rounds of locally heavy rainfall over several days
will result in extreme forecast amounts of up to 1 foot of
rain that will cause the risk of flash flooding and flooding
to rise markedly and create a particularly dangerous flooding
situation.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor later forecasts and be alert for Flash Flood and Flood
Warnings. Be prepared to take action when flooding develops as this
will be a particularly dangerous situation.

MIDNIGHT CDT /1 AM EDT/ WEDNESDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...South winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.

* WHERE...All of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western
Kentucky, and southeast Missouri.

* WHEN...From 7 AM CDT /8 AM EDT/ Wednesday to midnight CDT /1 AM
EDT/ Wednesday Night.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

Money raised from this SIH Gala will in-turn help transform access to inpatient psychiatric care for patients.

CARTERVILLE, Ill. (WSIL) -- Many came out to support behavioral health care for southern Illinoisans through the 12th Annual SIH Gala at Walkers Bluff Casino Resort on Friday night.

The SIH Gala Spring Blooms, "A Celebration in Pink" event was sold out with many enjoying fine dining, dancing, entertainment, raffles and more.

Those in attendance also supported SIH's transformative mission with donations which benefitted the Mulberry Center at Harrisburg.

The Mulberry Center helps patients with behavioral health needs. Money raised from this SIH Gala will in-turn help transform access to inpatient psychiatric care for patients. Furthermore, will help in creating a space for patients to find hope, healing and empowerment which will rebuild the lives for a brighter future.
