SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WSIL) -- The Illinois Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias鈥� office is now looking for applicants for their third-annual summer job program.
150 positions are available across the state. These are for positions for those in colleges, trade schools, graduate school students or high school students who are enrolled in college or a trade school in the fall.
These are jobs in one of the 25 departments through the Secretary of State's office or at a DMV.
鈥淥ur summer job program allows young people to explore career opportunities, earn money and build valuable skillsets,鈥� Giannoulias said. 鈥淭his type of hands-on work also builds toward future academic and professional success and can translate into long-term benefits for our communities.鈥�
Positions run at offices in Chicago, Springfield and locations in southern Illinois and can earn $17 per hour or $25 per hour if you are a law school student.
