.Levels will continue to fall on the Big Muddy River, dropping
below flood stage near Plumfield Sunday, and near Murphysboro
Tuesday.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and will continue.

* WHERE...Big Muddy River near Plumfield.

* WHEN...Until early Sunday afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 23.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Sunday morning and continue falling to 15.1 feet Thursday,
April 24.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

Crash Reported on I-57 NB in Franklin County, Motorists Urged to Take Alternative Routes

WEST FRANKFORT, Ill. -- Emergency services are responding to a crash in Franklin County along I-57.

The Franklin County Emergency Management Agency alerted the public at 8:40 p.m. about the crash.

The incident reportedly happened in the northbound lanes around the 67 mile marker.

Motorists are to expect delays and should take alternative routes of travel.
