CARBONDALE, Ill. (WSIL) -- The SIH Memorial Hospital of Carbondale welcomed a newborn into the world on New Year's Day.
The birthing center at SIH Memorial Hospital of Carbondale stated a baby boy was born at 1:22 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, January 1, 2025.
The baby boy weighed in at 8 lbs., 13.8 ounces and is 21 inches long.
The hospital also congratulated the parents for their new little one.
