HICKMAN, Ky. (WSIL) -- The Dorena-Hickman Ferry closed down on Sunday afternoon due to high winds.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet - District 1 informed the public of the ferry shutting down for the rest of the day on March 30, due to the high winds.
This comes at a time before severe weather is set to move across the region.
The ferry is anticipating to reopen on Monday morning.
