Lane reduction to begin on Lake of Egypt Road next week

WILLIAMSON COUNTY (WSIL) -- Beginning Monday August 23, 2021 Lake of Egypt Road will be reduced to one lane of traffic during daytime operations.

The lane restriction is to allow for the resurfacing of Lake of Egypt Road from Route 166 to South Market.

Traffic control and flagmen will be in place to direct drivers through the work zone.

To avoid delays, drivers will need to find another route.
