McCracken County Couple Arrested for Illegal Drug Offenses

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (WSIL) -- A couple in Kentucky was arrested for illegal drug offenses in connection to a recent investigation.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office, both Daniel Ford and Ashley Whittington were arrested on January 16, 2025.

Earlier in the day, detectives and deputies found the couple at their home on Bullard Street, in the Farley community, the sheriff's office said. This was in connection to an earlier investigation the sheriff's office conducted back in December of last year.

On December 11, the sheriff's office said their detectives searched a home on Bullard Street in relation to some complaints for illegal drug activity there.

After searching the home in December, the sheriff's office stated they found fentanyl, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, along with items of value they said were in connection with the sale of illegal drugs.

It wasn't until more than a month later when both Ford and Whittington were arrested in connection to this investigation.

They were then both taken in the McCracken County Regional Jail.

Daniel Ford, 35 Paducah

  • Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Fentanyl)
  • Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine)
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Ashley Whittington, 34 of Paducah

  • Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Fentanyl)
  • Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine)
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
