FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ill. (WSIL) -- A memorial will be held on Monday, September 16, 2024 for the three teens killed in a car crash one year ago. The memorial will be held at the Benton High School football field, Tabor Field, starting at 6:30 p.m.

On this day, one year ago, five Franklin County teens were involved in a tragic car accident, along Benton Field Road. Three teens, Landen Agnitsch, Joecy Padavic and Bradley Williams were killed in the incident. The two other teens in the vehicle survived the crash.

Organizers of the memorial service say the evening is meant to provide support to friends and family, as well as fellowship and comfort throughout the community. The memorial will include a dedication and remarks from staff with Immanuel Baptist Church.
