POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (WSIL) -- One person was flown out to a hospital with serious injuries after a three-vehicle crash in Butler County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the crash happened on March 31, at 5:27 p.m. along US 67, roughly two miles south of Poplar Bluff.

State police said a 62-year-old man from Neelyville was driving a 2024 Zhejiant Jiajue Moped going east when it failed to yield and was hit by a 2016 CRV and the towed unit of a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado.

The driver of the moped was flown out to Region One Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee, with serious injuries.

The moped was reported totaled and the Honda CRV had moderate damage.
