WSIL(Carterville, Ill.) -- This morning, most of us are waking up to temperatures in the lower 40s and lower 50s across most of southern Illinois. We are seeing the mid to upper 50s for far southern parts of the region.

Skies this morning are mostly clear. We will see sunshine last all day today. Thanks to the cold front, we will see mild conditions areawide  today, with temperatures that will still be in the 50s through 9AM and in the mid 60s by lunchtime. Highs today will be in the lower 70s for most of us. But, some of our northern counties may not see temperatures make it out of the upper 60s.

Humidity levels will remain very comfortable, with dew points running into the lower 40s for most of us. Overnight tonight, we will see mostly clear skies areawide. This will help temperatures cool into the lower 40s for morning lows tomorrow morning.

Highs for tomorrow will be in the lower 70s once again. High temperatures should reach the mid 70s by mid week, and the upper 70s for the end of the workweek through the weekend. Dry and sunny conditions will be present this entire week as well, with mild humidity levels.
