JOHNSON CO., IL (WSIL) -- Illinois State Police investigators say six teenagers were riding together in a vehicle that left the roadway and hit a tree early Sunday morning.
The crash happened at 2:46 a.m. on Ozark Road near Locust Street.
According to the crash report the vehicle was headed westbound when it left the road to the right and hit a tree.
Three teens in the vehicle died from their injuries.
- Jordan Davidson, 18, of Goreville. Police say he was the driver of the vehicle.
- A 17-year-old from Vienna. (Name not released)
- A 15-year-old from Vienna. (Name not released)
Three other teens were hurt and taken to an area hospital. ISP hasn't released their names either.
We know two of the teens were also from Vienna and the other was from Harrisurg.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Vienna Superintendent Joshua Stafford saying efforts were underway to support students in need of grief counseling.

Stafford also says a prayer vigil is planned for Sunday evening.
