CARTERVILLE (WSIL) -- There are still plenty of animals who need a safe place to call home. We have a brand new list in this edition Pets of the Week.
Denholm is a 3-year-old Domestic Short Hair who is looking for a calm home. While he can be a bit shy at first, he is a sweet boy who just wants to snuggle and be an independent kitty. Denholm is neutered and great with other cats. You can find him at the Humane Society of ¾ÅÓÎÌåÓý Illinois in Murphysboro.
Rosco is a 4-year-old Hound-mix who weighs 70-pounds. He can be adopted from the Perry County Humane Society in Du Quoin.
Kylie is a young German Shepard who is very shy and timid. She needs an owner with experience with Shepherds or larger breeds, not a first-time dog owner. Kylie needs someone that can build her confidence and work with obedience training. Get to know her at Franklin County Animal Control in Benton.
Bella is a 1-year-old Jack Russel/Heeler mix. She's a big fan of making new friends, both human and canine, and would love to go home with someone looking for an energetic, snuggle bug. Bella will need to be spayed and will need a rabies vaccine before her adoption can be finalized. Contact the Wayne County Humane Society to adopt her.
Harley is a 7-year-old Rottweiler-mix whose owner died. He is heartworm positive and fully vaccinated, but he is not neutered. Harley loves to walk and play and gets along with other dogs and cats. If you are interested in Harley, visit him at the Herrin Animal Control.
