AZUSA, Cal. (CNN) -- Wildfires across three western states have forced hundreds of people to evacuate their homes.
Crews are battling a number of fires in California, central Oregon and Colorado, altogether scorching more than 90,000 acres.
Near Lake Hughes, California, an 11,000 acre fire is getting dangerously close to about 5,000 structures.
The Pine Gulch fire in Colorado has burned more than 69,000 acres as of Thursday night with only seven percent containment.
One hundred miles away, the Grizzly Creek fire has forced authorities to shut down part of Interstate 70.
Hotter and drier weather is expected this weekend and into next week, making things even more challenging and dangerous for firefighters.
