One juvenile injured, three others sought in Carbondale shooting incident

CARBONDALE, Il. (WSIL) � Police are investigating a shooting incident where one juvenile was injured and they are searching for others involved.

The Carbondale Police Department said officers responded to the 400-block of South Lake Heights after reports of shots fired at 7:40 p.m. on March 11.

One juvenile male was reported shot and injured. He was treated at the scene and didn’t require to be taken to the hospital for treatment

Police said they found damage to a vehicle after someone shot at it, along with a home which was hit by bullets as well.

Police said three black males with dark clothing on ran from the area on foot going west. Officers say the shots fired was due to a dispute between people who knew each other.
