(WSIL) -- On Thursdays, WSIL features animals in our area who need a good home. It's a segment we lovingly named: Pets of the Week". We always have plenty of adoptable animals from areas across the region. Here's a look at who is looking for a forever home this week.

First is a sweet-eyed labrador named Jellybean. She's about 10 months old and is very smart. You can find Jellybean at the Claws ad Paws Rescue in Olney. You can get more information on this sweet girl by calling Claws and Paws Rescue at 618-395-1218.

Next is a very lovable kitty named Miss Cal. If you are looking for a snuggle buddy, she seems like the girl for you. She's a two-year-old cat who is said to be calm and content napping. Miss Cal is available at the Jefferson County Animal Control in Mt. Vernon. If you would like to learn more about Miss Cal, you can call 618-244-8024.

Luna Faith looks bigger than she is, only weighing in at around 40 pounds. She's a little too big to be a lap dog, but she will give you plenty of love. She's known to be dog, cat and kid friendly. Luna Faith is approximately a year and a half old, and available at the Salem Animal Control in Kell. You can call 618-822-6696 for more information.

Finally, you have got to meet this very smart gal, Jane. She's a mix between a Beagle and a Blue Tick Hound, which means she is very active and smart. While she's not trained to be inside, workers at the Union County Animal Shelter believe that she's a very quick study. You can call 618-833-4915 for more information.
