.Levels will continue to fall on the Big Muddy River for the next
week, dropping near to below flood stage by April 20.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

The Landings announces rescheduled Blood Drive

CARBONDALE, IL (WSIL) -- Right now, the American Red Cross says there's a nationwide shortage of blood. You can help donate the gift of life during an upcoming blood drive taking place at The Landings at Reed Station Crossing. 

The assisted living facility has announced the rescheduling of their Blood Drive in partnership with the American Red Cross. Originally set for August 23rd, the Blood Drive will now take place on September 6th from 1-5 p.m. 

Donors who signed up for the original date, will still receive their gift cards

as a token of appreciation.
