...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...

Big Muddy River near Murphysboro affecting Jackson County.

Big Muddy River near Plumfield affecting Franklin and Williamson
Counties.

.The Big Muddy River continues to rise due to heavy rain last week
and over the weekend. The river will crest on Thursday before
starting a very slow fall.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

forecast.

- At 10:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 28.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 31.0
feet early Thursday morning.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
30.7 feet on 01/26/1949.

Jefferson County Sheriff's Office looking for fraud suspect

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. -- Officials in Jefferson County are asking for the help of the community in identifying a suspect. 

The suspect is believed to have committed a fraud crime. Deputies believe the individual pictured stole the victim's credit card. Officials said he left the scene in a white Ford truck. 

The footage released depicts the man in a dark t-shirt with a yellow design in the middle. He wears blue jeans and can be seen carrying gray tennis shoes and a white plastic bag. He also has a short haircut.
