CARTERVILLE, Ill. -- John A Logan announced its enrollment grew for the fall semester on Wednesday morning.Ìý
The school saw a 2.8% increase in headcount and 3.1% increase in credit hours enrolled this semester, according to the college's Assistance Vice President of Marketing and Communications Dr. Steve O'Keefe. Overall, the school has gained an 8.6% growth since 2021.Ìý
"We are thrilled to see such a positive trend in our enrollment figures," said President Dr. Kirk Overstreet. "This growth reflects a tremendous effort by our faculty and staff, including our recruitment efforts and decreasing barriers to college for our students. I am so proud of everyone at the college for their hard work, which has been a complete team effort."Â
O'Keefe noted the semester's increase in numbers correlates to the college's goals to provide more affordable and accessible offerings to students.Ìý
John A. Logan also reported an increase in extracurricular offerings. The school added more counseling and tutoring offerings on top of variety in scheduling offerings.Ìý
