MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky. -- Officials arrested a man on Friday after he was suspected of assaulting a child and an adult.Â
Deputies with the Marshall County Sheriff's Office arrived on the scene at Little Bear Hwy to two victims. The adult was brought to a local hospital and the child was brought to a different location.
Deputies found Jacob "Drew" Does, 39, of Gilbertsville, on the scene. Officials said Does tried to fight arrest, though, and became violent. The suspect reportedly tried to assault the deputies and break the patrol car's windows after he was placed in custody.Â
According to a release from the Sheriff's Office, deputies charged Does with the following:
- Assault, 1st degree (Domestic Violence)
- Assault, 4th degree (Child Abuse)
- Resisting Arrest
- Terroristic Threatening
- Criminal Mischief
- Endangering the Welfare of a Minor
- Criminal Mischief
- Menacing
Officials say that Does was on bond for a pending charge of criminal mischief at the time of Friday's arrest.Â
