CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. -- Officials arrested a man believed to have pointed a loaded gun at a deputy and resident.
Deputies with the Calloway County Sheriff's Office learned of a verbal fight on Oakview Lane on April 20 at about half past noon. Upon authorities' arrival on the scene, the people involved all dispersed. No criminal charges were filed.Â
However, the ongoing investigation revealed that involved-suspect Charles Klofar, 55, of Murray, allegedly possessed a loaded weapon on the scene. Investigators believe Klofar pointed the weapon at one of the deputies and one of the involved arguers.Â
Officials issues a warrant for Klofar's arrest. On Thursday, deputies arrested Klofar and brought him to the Calloway County Detention Center. He faces a charge for Wanton Endangerment.
