Illinois...

Big Muddy River near Plumfield and Murphysboro.

.Levels on the Big Muddy River will continue to drop, falling below
flood stage at Plumfield Sunday, and at Murphysboro Monday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Big Muddy River near Plumfield.

- At 9:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 25.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late Sunday evening and continue falling to 19.1 feet Monday,
April 21.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

Meridian Bobcats place second in state

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- The Meridian Bobcats finished their final game of the season in second place in the state.

The final score came out to 43 to 62. The Bobcats lost to the West Central Cougars.

While the Bobcats just missed out on state champions, they should be proud to know they came in second in all of Illinois.
