below flood stage near Plumfield Sunday, and near Murphysboro
Tuesday.

- At 7:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 23.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Sunday afternoon.

Two police officers crash, taken to hospital in Murray

MURRAY, Ky. -- Two Calloway County Police officers were sent to the hospital after colliding Thursday while driving to pursue a felon. 

Deputies Nick Hopkins and Daniel Burgdolf crashed at the intersection of South 12th Street and Peggy Ann Drive. The pair was on their way to help Henry County Police catch a violent felon heading toward Kentucky.

Hopkins paused to turn left off 12th street when Burgdolf was unable to stop and hit Hopkins from behind. 

Both officers were taken to the ER due to injuries.
