WSIL (Carterville, IL)-- This morning, we are tracking temperatures that are above freezing for all of us. This is good news, because we are tracking quite a bit of precipitation this morning, that is all falling as rain.

Today, you can expect to see wide spread rain through the morning commute. Shower chances will decrease through out the mid morning and early afternoon hours. However, we still will retain a chance of isolated showers throughout the afternoon hours.

Temperatures will be in the low to mid 40s through the early morning hours, and will increase through out the day. Highs should be in the mid to upper 40s today with a south-southeast wind of 4 to 6 miles per hour.

This evening, we will see rain chances go up once again, first across southeastern Missouri. Rain will move from southwest to northeast, and once again become more widespread in the overnight hours. We could even see a few flashes of lightning with the heavier pockets of rain.

Tomorrow will be similar to today with rain and storms lasting through the morning hours, before becoming more isolated throughout the day. Morning lows tomorrow will likely be in the mid 40s and highs tomorrow will likely be in the mid to upper 50s, and a few spots could make it to 60.

For the end of the work week, we are tracking highs in the 50s with rain on Thursday and dry conditions on Friday.
