Hourly Forecast

WSIL(Carterville, Ill.)-- This morning, most of us are waking up to warm and humid conditions. Temperatures are in the upper 60s and lower 70s, with dew points in the upper 60s as well. Where dew points and temperatures are closely aligning, we are seeing a little bit of dense fog.

Fog will not last for too long, as it should burn off once the sun rises. Today, you can expect to see partly to mostly cloudy skies for most of us, with temperatures that will be in the lower 70s by midday. Highs should be in the upper 70s area wide, and a few spots further south could reach the lower 80s. Humidity levels today should remain pretty sticky today with dew points in the mid to upper 60s.

There is a chance of isolated showers later this afternoon, but that chance will remain isolated at best, and nit everyone will see showers. Showers will dissipate once the sun goes down, and we will be dry overnight.

Tomorrow, partly cloudy cloudy skies are expected for the morning, but skies will ten mostly sunny in the afternoon. Morning lows will be in the mid 60s with highs likely in the mid to upper 70s in the early afternoon. A cold front will push through the area later in the afternoon, and temperatures and humidity levels will drop significantly behind the front.

Morning lows for Wednesday could be in the mid to upper 40s with highs only in the low 70s for Wednesday. The 80s will return for Thursday and Friday, but the humidity should remain comfortable.
