Big Muddy River near Plumfield and Murphysboro.

.Levels will continue to fall on the Big Muddy River, dropping
below flood stage near Plumfield Sunday, and near Murphysboro
Tuesday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

CARTERVILLE (WSIL) -- In the Class 3A regional final from Marion high school, Marion knocked off Herrin 61-54.

Jackson Connor also broke the school scoring record in the victory. The record was held for 53 years by Greg Starrick.

In the other 3A regional final rom Effingham high school, Carbondale beat Centralia 58-47.

In Class 2A, Murphysboro gets by top seed Nashville 57-47.

In Class 1A, Goreville outlasts Woodlawn 59-57.
