Big Muddy River near Murphysboro affecting Jackson County.

.Moderate flooding continues along the Big Muddy River. At both
Plumfield and Murphysboro, the river will continue to fall slowly
through next week.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

CARBONDALE (WSIL) -- Spring sports have been canceled and for some local high school teams creating TikTok videos have kept spirits high.

I wasn't too familiar with TikTok at the start of the year, but I'm now more familiar. I've shown my age, but I've learned I'm not the only one who is learning what TikTok is all about. SIU Football Coach, Nick Hill had to ask his players to explain what TikTok was all about.
