SIU basketball raises awareness for Samaritan's Feet during game with Missouri State

CARBONDALE, Ill. (WSIL) -- During the SIU/Missouri State game over the weekend, SIU Scott Coach and others were raising awareness for Samaritan's Feet.

The barefoot game highlighted how one can make a difference in another person's life through the gift of hope and shoes.

 services and inspires hope in children with providing shoes for a healthier life and results in the advancement of education and economic opportunities. The organization said since they have formed in 2023, they and their partners have served more than 10.5 million people across 111 countries and more than 625 U.S. cities.

Coach Nagy went barefoot while coaching the game to help spotlight the need for shoes across the nation and other countries.
