CARTERVILLE, Ill. -- A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for most of the region ahead storms which are predicted to make their way through the area on Tuesday.
The National Weather Service issued the watch for the region after 3 p.m. to run through until 10 p.m. on July 30.
The primary concern with these storms are damaging wind gusts of 60 to 70 mph. Large hail and a tornado or two are also possible.
